The 2017 Hinton Auto Group
Build a Mountain of Food Campaign
The Hinton Auto Group Build a Mountain of Food Campaign is getting ready for the 2017 edition!
On behalf of the Hinton Auto Group, we would like to thank everyone that has supported us so generously over our history, and we look forward to an even bigger and better campaign this year.
We are so thankful for the generosity shown to our campaign in terms of work, time, money, and food. You are true community champions!
Area food banks continue to play a vital role, providing necessary assistance to the many faces of hunger in our communities, including seniors, single parents, the working poor, and unfortunately, many children.
The Hinton Auto Group Build a Mountain of Food Campaign takes place in 11 local towns and villages in support of local food banks. The communities include Almonte, Carleton Place, Perth, Lanark, Smiths Falls, Westport, Elgin, Portland, Merrickville, Athens, and Delta.
Supporting OUR Local Food Banks
A number of food blitz days will be scheduled at area grocery store locations to help Build a Mountain of Food. The Hinton Auto Group will be on hand along with our participating media partners, to collect food and cash donations. All food and money collected in your community stayed in your community.
Follow Along With Us
Metroland Media will be with us throughout the campaign with weekly stories showing the progress of Build a Mountain of Food, along with updates on our weekly stops.
This year, we’re excited to welcome Rogers Media and Jack 92.3 Smiths Falls to the Hinton Auto Group Build a Mountain Campaign. Jack 92.3 will provide ongoing promotional support to our campaign with interviews and live reports.
Lake 88 will also be providing ongoing promotional announcements and weekly on-air interviews with our food bank representatives and reports from our food blitz locations.
Your TV will also be supporting our campaign with ongoing coverage.
In addition, this year, follow our Hinton Auto Group Facebook page for extensive video coverage of the campaign, including live streaming coverage using Facebook Live from all of the Build a Mountain of Food locations, as well as special video interviews with our many contributing businesses and community organizations who are an essential component of our Build a Mountain of Food campaign.
Sharing is Caring
This year we are excited to have all of the action on Facebook Live so you can see it, share it, and watch it anywhere and anytime you want to! Use the Hashtags #BAM to keep up with all the latest developments.
“Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm”
This year’s Build a Mountain of Food Campaign is dedicated to the memory of our friends and strong supporters of Build a Mountain of Food, and their community, Doug Good and Mike Carty.
