Great donation of both food and toys was presented by a very special area resident. Anne Jenkins has made her visit to Build a Mountain of Food annually for the past few years and her overwhelming generosity is very much appreciated by both Build a Mountain of Food and the community.
Len’s Cove, another special business who every year through fundraising efforts like the boater’s season-ending luncheon etc., choose a family in the area and provide them with a very special Christmas with all the trimmings.
Thanks to Chris and the Portland Food Market for allowing us to set up in front of the store again this year and a huge thank you to Cheryl Stoddard, Ilona French, Vicky Zwiers, and Sue Peebles, from the Portland Food Bank and to the community in general, we say thank you. Our visit to Portland each and every year is always a memorable one. Your generosity in continuously giving back to your community is something that makes you special and a great place to call home!
