A big thank you to Merrickville resident Mary Kerr who gave the proceeds of her knitted hats, toques, mittens, and scarves to the Merrickville Food Cupboard, and to Kacey Caines who through her 4-H program, learned how to make Christmas wreaths. Kacey chose to donate all the proceeds from the sale of her wreaths to the Food Cupboard. Thank you Kacey! You are a true champion in your community.
A huge thank you goes out to Dennis and Bobby-Jo Trodden, owners of the Merrickville Food Market who without their support, our Build a Mountain of Food stop would not be possible in support of the Merrickville Lions Club Christmas Hamper Campaign.
Thanks to the members of the Lions Club who came out to help us during our Build a Mountain of Food stop as part of Christmas in Merrickville.
Thanks to Dawn Rodger Executive Director of the Beth Donovan Hospice who is always there to help with our Build a Mountain of Food stop each and every year.
